You traded your stilettos 👠 for snowshoes! :D
The ending was hilarious! Loved when buddy tried to walk with them on!

Based on a true story too 😊

I see you got a replacement box of mealy worms there....any way to give Mrs By Bob a daily limit????
We have been discussing just that. Her words were I can say whatever I want she is going to do what she wants to do. I'm trying to limit her to 1 coffee cup a day of meal worms. She doesn't care. I'm trying to convince her it is not good for them but it is not going well.

Grass is highly overrated, put in sand and rocks and make a desert garden with succulents! Places for chickens to dig and fluff around!
Says the woman with a giant mountain of manure in her yard. 🙄

Well mine are actually not that much smaller than my other chickies, but I wouldn’t put more than 3or4 eggs or chicks under them. Chiquita is doing awesome with 6!
So I don't think leghorn chicks will outgrow her that fast. They should wind up a little smaller than Mr. Pompeii.

You need to appeal to her Nurse side, let her know that overweight chickens have all sorts of health issues just like people do!

Anything in moderation is ok, in fact get her to start teaching them tricks and such for rewards!

Awww those three are adorable :) Wow they sure have grown up!

How are you doing today? Are you managing ok? Just another few days to go.

My three silkie gals Fluffy, Curly and Henny Penny as youngsters; and the two Silkies Roos Roxanne and Stanley who are no longer with me (fox attack).
I’m doing ok. Trying to cut the pain pills down to three a day to minimize the side effects, and so they maintain effectiveness for after the surgery. I would like to only take them twice the day before the surgery. I wish I could ice it more but don’t have a great way to do it and am dependent on DH bringing the ice packs to me. But he did bring Squeak in from my office to visit me today.

Caturday visit (sorry it’s a little blurry, he didn’t want to sit still)

Yah, but now my yard looks like Normandy on D Day! :barnie
It would be a little expensive but you could lay chicken wire down flat on the ground in areas you don’t want them to dig and stake it down with landscaping staples. The grass will grow up through it but they won’t be able to dig very well.
