My elevation is 522 feet, 159 meters above sea level. So you are a little higher.

I looked up the decline in temp for every thousand feet, thought it was three degrees F but some places say 3.5 (2C) others 5.4, (6C) other factors being equal.
Up throwing off the giant quilt I was sleeping under, it's warming up now, it's 16F while it was 11F when I went to bed. Must be okay in there for the chickens, no snuggling needed tonight!

Just checked on the baby chicks they are up and chirping and walking around really good. They are eating and drinking and have their medicated food and electrolyte water. I love holding them and feeling the fuzziness. Gonna get some good pics today!

Just as expected, I’m feeling worse. Congestion and sneezing. But no fever yet, and the sound of the rain is quite soothing to me. Jaffar is asleep next to me. Yep on my bed (on his own blanket)

Awww at least you have Jaffar there to help soothe you. I hope you get better soon. Drink lots of fluids. Orange juice is really good for a cold and flu.
