Well, you hit the nail on the head. I was not even looking for the nest, just out refilling the chicks feeder in the coop when a egg caught my eye. Was this egg inside the coop? No. Was this egg even Goose's? Again nope. It was on the outside of the back of the coop. I go around to get it and low and behold there it was. Goose's nest. I did not have the camera with me but I went ahead and collected them. She tried but it is most definitely not in a safe location, plus it is exposed to the elements. I will say, her 3 eggs, are bigger then what she has previously laid. They are actually already bigger then her silkie mother's so if she did go broody as long as they are the same size, I might give her 3 or 4 of her own.Perhaps she has some co-conspirators? Been tucking other’s eggs up under her wing and spiriting them off while you’re not looking?at this rate you’re not going to be pulling those incubators out of the closet anytime soon!
Goose also has 2 co-conspirator's laying in her nest, wretched brats.
Goose's eggs are the 3 in the middle.
