They turned 5 weeks old on Saturday. It's brother was obviously a boy at 2 1/2 weeks. He already also has twice as big of a comb then this one. I just cannot make up my mind yet. One day it is a pullet, the next day I think maybe late developing male.

Girls’ combs can be all over the place. Especially compared to the one big chick comb there, I’ll say girl!

Lovely twofers @ManueB! I for one will miss you greatly on this thread, so do please come back whenever you can. Remember pictures for Fridays and Mondays and don’t forget Tuesdays and Thursdays. That should be enough in a week for us to benefit from your lovely contributions!!

Maybe we should all try and temper the number of posts we make?
Which is faster to read - the multi-quote approach (@ManueB uses that to good effect), or the multiple one-liners (@Ponypoor and I usually do that)?

I have been trying to hold back my more trivial posts because I am conscious that FBA would be nowhere near as wonderful if Bob and others fall back, and we have already lost a number of lovely FBA friends, who have given up on us because of volume.

I am a fast reader and ruthless at scanning (so I sometimes miss detail), I am also retired, and even I am finding I struggle. My strategy is very frequent very short engagement - if I miss a day I feel I am drowning!

Busy Thread

I will do my part starting today, and only make TWO postings:
1) I will only post the theme of the day (ie: Two 4 Tue today - DONE)
2) End of day check in to see how everyone is.

I will of course check in and make the usual 'thumbs-up, Hearts, etc'. But I will limit my comments - so everyone have an awesome day!

I really hope Babs hasn't hurt herself - she has settled on the roost next to Bernie but is holding her wings out like they do when they are too hot. It isn't bitterly cold, but no way she is hot. UGH

Am reading ahead, I hope she’s okay, she fell like a stone and didn’t flap her way down?
