We would hope that the dye grows out of the poor chick! ( I don’t like it when someone does that to a chick) usually they do it around Easter time.

Not to throw a wet blanket on the dyed chick craze but recently there was a well documented case of a pigeon dyed green perishing because of the process. I'm pretty sure dyed chicks are now illegal in most states.

She seems fine and made it up to the rafters again last night.
Lots of flapping on the way down - looked almost like a planned descent!

Nice and mild weather this morning gonna let the chooks out early. Hubby cleaned a little I have a lady and her daughter coming to pick up all the pullets today.
