Parm and Moxie (Nicknames for Parmesan and Mozzarella) are Leghorns. I don't know how Mozzarella got that floppy comb when her sister's is just a small flap at the end.

The mama hen reminds me of someone...
Squirrely
On a scale of 1-10, how annoying is Squirrely's scream. I have shown this video before but didn't think to ask this question.
OMG I just want to hug her!

Well, I officially have a broody hen ready to set. It is not Goose. I knew letting those girls lay on top of the hay and only being able to collect every 2 or 3 days would bite me in the butt. Bunny is a shrieking pancake who was thrown off the hay today and still managed to get off the roost in the dark and back up to her now empty nest. Goose now has 6 eggs in her nest. I will give her until Friday and if she does not sit going to plan B. I now have a ready and willing hen who if I show a nest of eggs to will happily incubate them.

Hope it goes well and she continues to sit!

It is funny how adorable and horrendous the 'shrieking pancakes' can be - all at the same time! 🥰😳😱🥰

Why wait till Friday 💕 ❤️ If you started today - they will be that much close to hatching! Just saying!

If I have to go with Plan Bunny, this will be her 5th brood and she is only 2 1/2 years old. If someone ever came up and told me Marans are not broody or good mother's I think I would die laughing.
