All the Way to the Ground

Sidney took them all the way out. All the way. Check this out.

I installed a ramp from the coop to the porch.

The problems began when she wanted to take them to bed. While they can go down the big ramp, they can't go back up. Sydney kept wanting them to follow her to bed and they were just confused. I eventually intervened and put them on the porch. They all went in with 1 late arrival.

I think I'm going to put a board across the end of the porch that will allow the big ones down but keeps the chicks on the porch. I'll post pictures later.

My goodness can they be any cuter!!!!😍

I thought the porch was rather a long way! They went on such a huge adventure!

I'm relieved they got back in ok and that you were there to lend a hand.

I'm so glad Sansa was careful of the chicks. I was worried when I saw her.

Of course she took them into the box with with a lip I can't take off tonight. Why! :barnie :he

I placed a 2x4 in front to make a step. They clearly have some hopping ability.

Why did Sansa peck Sydney on the head at the waterer?!
