That’ll work! That's what I did: clear the hiding places, leave it bare, "chickens, dinner is available to the fastest/sneakiest bird"

Since I am rehoming a few of my guineas, I am getting rid of him too, and keeping one of his nephews so that I have an even ratio of males to females.I'm going to confirm if it is the white one and give him away if it is. I'd like to let everyone out together.
Just a strip of rag from an old pair of sweat pants. I cut a deep fringe and drape it over so it is more like a momma hen - dark and cozy inside but they can pop their heads out through the slits.Gosh they are darn tootin cute
What is draped over your brooder?
No, he picked out the colors and the pattern so it is his. Plus the center square has his and her name on it so no stealing it darn it. I do not think I would like being called Michael. There is another reason why I had not complained about it though. Her next project once she finishes the wall hanging she is embroidering for Rosie is for me. As soon as I find the transfers I like she is embroidering me a chicken quilt. I've found a few chicken patterns, some are cute but too cartoony. I would love to find a pattern like the 2 squares in the state bird quilt, with sorta real life looking chickens. I have time, she will be at least another month on Rosie's cactus one.About your brother’s quilt…. Steal it.
Wow. Gorgeous! Quilt and chicks I mean.Grandma just finished up doing a 50 state embroidered flower quilt in blue for my brother. It is pretty and I love it. I was actually slightly jealous. Not anymore, Look what I found. 50 state bird one finished and ready to send to the quilter. I would have fought them all over this one. The rest of the tops are beautiful, but this one has my name written all over it.

I have the school sampler my grandmother made in 1909. I have it framed in my bedroom.Wow, that is beautiful! She is a very good embroiderer! What a lovely quilt....and what a lovely memory to have of grandma - that gorgeous quilt.
I have a very small (lap size) afghan my grandmother crocheted. It is nothing terribly special...but it is so very special to me!
Quilts are serious business! The artwork should reflect the artist and author of the piece. Just my personal opinion. No, he picked out the colors and the pattern so it is his. Closer shotView attachment 3488490Yes, Maizie is about 18 inches off the ground in the middle of the maze of French lilac bush (brambles without thorns).....do I need to start thinning this out a bit?
Wow your grandma is a true artist! I am going to show mum tomorrow, that is hours and hours of work!
