Now I’m a little worried. The mama hen and her littles are nowhere to be seen. They headed towards the front yard early today. (Towards the highway) I hope they show up again tomorrow.

Pony Sunday video's and photo's. There is no perfect time to realize your memory card is full then when you are videoing your daughter in her first class. I got the first way around and partial of the 2nd way when it gave out. I frantically started deleting video's to have enough space for the awards in Juvenile Pleasure and the 2nd class she entered "Go as you Please." Thankfully there was a gap between her final class so I was able to run up and download them. After that I completely deleated the entire memory card. Rosie ended up with a 1st, 2nd and 3rd tonight. The most important thing though was she had fun and made memories. I cannot ask for more then that.

It rained all day yesterday so we all just stayed put. Today was beautiful though and we are back at it with integrating shenanigans.

Today I brought Brownie and the chicks over to the coop again, yes she yelled at me over the indignity of being carried the WHOLE way there and back again.

She seemed to enjoy it once there though:

The flock seems to have held space for her and didn’t act like Brownie was a new chicken. Brownie did just enough to tell the other girls to stay back from the chicks and nothing crazy happened. They just coexisted peacefully. I am proud of all of them.

Oh not to worry we have plenty of them here, thankfully they don’t cause too much issues but seems that we have at least a few times a year they need to act up

Good roo, too, if you're wanting to get a little guy. He's not a bantam, but one of the smallest standard. And he is FAST on his feet and very alert and smart. Because of him, I would quite happily add more hamburgs to my crew. (I have 2 of his daughters, with 4 more being at the in-laws, and they're all like him even though they're only half hamburg)
