Awww. Thank you for asking.
Well she came out of the nest early.
I saw her drink on her own and she ate a good amount of venison stew.
I haven’t seen her poop yet and it is too early to see how energetic she is. I thought she ate rather delicately compared to Babs and Bernie who went at the food like jackhammers.
I also can’t interest her in commercial food - pellets, crumble, or mash.
Hopefully she will pick up during the day.
:fl
Well any nourishment is good, and nothing wrong with venison stew!

Hopefully it's just her hormones adjusting themselves, and in a few days she will be back to her normal self.

I’m not happy about the way the other chickens are treating Dakota. She was having meally worms from me, and Flash came up and bit her on the back. Pulling out feathers, and Dakota ran away screaming. I took her inside away from the others. She was startled but has calmed down now. This has been going on since Arizona died. Dakota has no one to hang out with anymore. :( Makes me sad.
Awe, poor Dakota 😕 BBQ does that to Willow sometimes and then she gets scolded. It's so sad when there is one of our babies being bullied...

Dakota only wants to desperately fit in with the rest. Only Hen-Rietta is willing to let her hang out. It’s a slippery slope full of jagged Rocks around here. :barnie IMG_3140.jpeg

First Introduction
Well the chicks made a break for it this morning, so I let them out. They were actually fairly easy to herd around.

Then t hey met the bossy group and the Tweens.....

And here is how it all went

Thoughts?
Love it! That was great Im getting ready to put the silkies out with the others this weekend

Hattie picture
So, @BY Bob instead of a mug I'd like a full-body shot of Hattie. I have taken two tries at trying this picture:

First time I tried it too small and today, the second time it was better. I did her eyes reallly well. :)
To add:
I can't draw her in the surroundings that she's in right now, as well as the same posture. I'm going to alter the dimensions a LITTLE bit so that I can draw her better. And, Bob-- this is hand drawn! I had her for my lock screen and eventually got "addicted" as you can say, so I decided to draw her.

How wonderful - I can’t wait to see what you come up with.
She is a very pretty chicken indeed.
