That is in April, right? I'm thinking if the right holiday? I truly loved Italy. We were supposed to be there a week but that was when the Icelandic volcano erupted and we got stuck for nearly 3 weeks. Once we knew we were stuck we relaxed, rented a car, and just enjoyed. I can think of nothing I'd like more than to spend a month just traveling around. What part of Italy do you live in?


They aren't terribly rare here either, at least around bodies of water and they'd likely have no problem carrying away my 30 lb dog! They are huge!

I am! I never thought I'd be converting what was supposed to be a hunting cabin...but it's doing no one any good where it is. It will be nice to get it finished! It's 12 ft wide and I think 96 sq feet will be a bit large though...I so don't need that many chickens!

How wide is too wide?

My husband is off on Mondays, and I work for the state. The governor gave us a half day yesterday so we used it for our holiday. He works today and I'm being SO lazy! I need to do housework, or maybe work on the coop, but a nap sounds better.

Yes we selebrate it in April, but it's on the 25 instead of the 4. You have beautiful chickens.

Your English is really good, are you an expat?

How many chooks do you have ? And a chicken dog?! Does Thor protect from predators?

We just selebrate liberty day but we say it in Italian, we also don't really say happy fourth of July. However we do say happy day of liberty! Andsome pf my neighbors use fireworks every year and sometimes the chicken dog Thor gets scared so he sleeps in the coop with them instead of in his dog house located outside of the coop in the feed room.

Honestly I love living in the country side, especially the Italian country side. This is my view every morning when I go to let my chickens out.

I got 2 straight run Prairie Blue Bells, 2 BR pullets, and 2 'not sure' pullets. They were mostly black - I suspect maybe black stars? BR cross something to be sex-linked.

Oh! Perfect! So Hoover chicks I take it?

Can you send me a pick of your blue bells and BR?

I think my dark chipmunks are Bielefelders, but the light ones I don’t know?? Do these look anything like yours?

FYI they can fly up on the hay bale and one flew off the bale a good couple feet! Week old! They hop all over mama and ride her around hahaha they are a lot of fun!
