WonderfulGot 2 big beautiful brown eggs from the Silky Crossed hens today
I lost all the pears, peaches, and plums to a hard frost when they were in flower. Oh well.Yes, a few last year that the dogs got. About a dozen this year. Would have been more if not for the late freeze. Had lots of blooms on our young pear that the freeze wiped out too![]()
I hope so. It came right out as I pulled. I expected it to be stuck it's fizzled in peroxide nowDid you get it all out?
He will!Good morning Stormfeather - I bet soon you will be featured in a video on 'how to get down from a roost'![]()
Desert Valley Chicken heavenThe chickens were hilarious - they would run outside when the rain let up a bit, then bolt back inside when it started pelting down. Inside, outside - until I was too fed up to put up with them running out the back door of the barn.
Now they can either go outside the front into their run, or stay in. Everyone is happier it's cooler that is one thing for sure!
Well done!I hope so. It came right out as I pulled. I expected it to be stuck it's fizzled in peroxide now
I've just rubbed it over with alcohol as well. I only have penicillin here. I don't know if I should give him this.Well done!
Keep an eye on puss-cat’s skin in that area in case there is infection.
When it is my skin I clean the area but cats have strange reactions to things so I might just watch it rather than risk something I don’t know is safe for a cat.
I wouldn’t give him antibiotics. Cats are good at dealing with superficial infections and it may not even get infected. None of my bites ever have. I mean they gave me Lyme disease but I never got a skin infection from them.I've just rubbed it over with alcohol as well. I only have penicillin here. I don't know if I should give him this.
He asking for food now
He's 10 to 12 pounds in weight. So if I give him amoxicillin I'd have to work out the dosage. I'm going to give him a treat now to cheer him up .I wouldn’t give him antibiotics.
