Who else, but Pip? She left a poopy footprint on my back. I don't mind.

Sadly it was. No tip was left by either customer.Phyllis says “the service in this restaurant is very slow!”
I am not offended, nothing to be offended about! I was just sharing how it makes me feel whenever you post that weird corn guy.Didn’t mean to offend you RC, I apologize.
Feathered ingrates!Sadly it was. No tip was left by either customer.
Look at it this way, you can control your emotions by taking charge of them!I am not offended, nothing to be offended about! I was just sharing how it makes me feel whenever you post that weird corn guy.
Cool!
Not all chickens find out how to eat it from the cob, so I usually at least crack it off the kernel. And it's better digested if you actually crack it in smaller pieces so that's what we usually do, with a rock the size of a fist on a flat rock. The hard thing is stopping the chickens from getting their beaks under there while we smash it.My dad dropped off a bunch of pumpkins, gourds, and corn stalks a bit ago. I'm going to process the obviously frost damaged ones during the week, but hopefully the rest will keep and I can do them over the winter. There are a few pie pumpkins!

Gourds. I love gourds so I'll harvest seeds from them to plant along the treeline next year. Gourds!!!
As for the corn stalks, what should I do to get those ready for the chickens? Take the cobs off? Chop it? Or just haul one stalk in there every so often and let the ladies go to town? Dad says he wants a few for the deer and all he'll do is put them in the woods. Do I have to crack the kernels?

She was hanging out in the nestbox earlier, when she left there was a pink egg in it. But I am almost sure it’s a Fluffy egg - I don’t see how Butterscotch could lay a pink egg!I just love Butterscotch's head feathers. She is adorable.![]()
