How is your pookie today? Were you able to take a look for pin feathers.
She seems to be entirely pin feathers around her neck.
Poor little girl!

Oh yes! That is what my Grey Lady Misty (or is it Whiskers) looks like, she is just finishing up a good moult. Her head and neck are full of pin feathers.

Oh I wonder if her colouring will darken? Can’t wait to see!

This is the coop I’m getting. Just there’s two 😳View attachment 3688098

It only has 6 sqft of coop space (so, big enough for like two chickens) and you’d have to “edit” it to add ventilation (the openable flaps just mean they expect you to close them in inclement weather… meaning no ventilation when they’re most likely to be in the coop). For $800, it doesn’t seem worth the trouble it’s going to give you.

I love this photo! It looks like she is strutting down a catwalk 😊 oooo la-la!

Gosh I wish I had some of that photo editing stuff Bob has so I could dress her up with pearls 😊
Haha I’d love if you could add pearls onto her. Quincy is quite glamorous ☺️ At least for now. She has the *mildest* cross beak, however it means her beak doesn’t close water-tight, so she wets her beard every time she drinks. By winter it’ll be matted and filth, and her sisters will “help” her out by grooming it… if it goes anything like last year, she’ll be plucked clean shaven by January 😩

Poor baby! What about those nipple waterers?

And that is post broody molt? Because she is too young to have her first seasonal molt.
