Now we're getting dusted with snow and they're still running around.

We might be getting snow tomorrow or Sunday. However it won't be much snow.

Tis the season for cold snowy weather.

Curly doesn’t like the cold or snow. And right now she and Marty are sharing a nestbox beimg broody. I am ok with this as Marty is practically bald.

You might try training him with regular feed, as in having it available only from you hands in the morning. But you have so many chickens, it would be awhile for everyone to finish so Mr P could feel okay about taking some from you!

Yes, the gluttons always crowd him out, and I can’t really bring him in someplace mom his own. Poor wee fella, the girl always crowd him out!

I do have a rooster. I have not seen him try to mate with her, or square off for a spat. He's not feeling very active or amorous these days; he's getting over his own molt.

My Roo has been breeding Tippy, she is way over 30 weeks old but I haven’t seen any eggs from her, and I don’t see her in any nest boxes.

He has added her to his harem, Sophia’s chicks got automatically added; but I don’t see him with Butterscotch or Muffy and they are definitely laying eggs.

Maybe he doesn’t like them..?
