Yes tonight. I told her sorry, but I don’t drive after dark, and I’m babysitting my girls. Call a plumber if you feel it’s such an emergency. Call me tomorrow after you figure out what is going on. I’m not going anywhere tonight except sleep !

It is Whiskey. He is a buff orp x ee mixed with not quite sure which hen, but I think wyandotte from the in-laws birds. Cheetah is pure GOLD penciled hamburg. No silver spangled, mix or not. Would like some. Would like more golds too. They're alert little things.

Yes I have read they are very energetic and enjoying ‘getting into things’. Hoovers doesn’t have any and they are the only ones shipping to Peavey Mart, I will get a couple of appenzeller spitzhauben and French cuckoo Marans and Dark Brahma next summer

What a wonderful picture!

Another take on Alex’s situation might be that it is a reflection of how loved and trusted he is in his community and he just needs to start communicating that while he is still there for those who need him, he is not as young as he was and therefore not able to do everything he used to be able to do, and may even need a helping hand himself now and then.

I’ve been studying up on Cochins. Their temperament, what they need to thrive, different colors, etc.
I’m realizing that Sir Jaffar is not the usual Cochin. And that possibility, he isn’t even a chicken.
Could he be a feathered puppy or something similar?
