I think that my Brady Bunch might be cream legbar X... can you see the sticky up hair showing!? She seems to be the only one doing this... so we’ll see... I can’t wait! It’s so hard to get a good pic of them in the ‘see no touch’ section...

Ooooh exciting! My two young ladies got their little sticky up hair I think a lot younger - like day 3 - but I do hope they do have that because I am very taken with chickens wearing hats right now, and black chickens wearing hats may just be more cuteness than I can bear!

Maybe they're olive eggers?

I've been digging through my hard drives again looking for a particular number of pictures I'm supplying to a battery chicken rescue concern in the UK and I came across this sequence.
This is Jenny and she's having a bath. The comments are what I believe she was saying at the time.
Dropped the soap!

How pretty!! Ella, my BR cross, has a tuft just like that!

Only Phyllis has done it so far. Before these 3 new hens no one ever went up there, including my flying leghorns. This group is getting too much free range time.
I find the same, Bob. They're like us. They get bored & curiosity drives them to explore new domains. It is a healthy instinct but they don't seem to have the caution to balance it out.
