I'm sorry I didn't get quicker answers for you. The time zones just did not match up well for us.
All's well that ends well. :) It wasn't your fault. I was just worried & impatient. Funny how our flocks become extensions of each other's. I'm just relieved & happy to know she is doing well & I know you'll be relieved too. :hugs

This is Donk. Without wishing to sound like a twelve year old contributor, she's been acting weird for a while now. I spent some time with Tribe 3, to which she belongs this evening.

I prefer to do what health checks I can with the roosters in daylight while they are standing.
This is Notch getting a comb and wattle check, I also did his legs, crop, mite check and bum check.
Of course this involves walnuts and of course Myth feels she is entitled to anything I offer Notch.
Knock the fourth tribe member is in the coop still upset that I have confiscated the most recent clutch she has been sitting on.

Notch is majestic. 🥰

I’ll feel better after she’s laid an egg and her vent looks normal. :fl
Me too. She's still not quite herself today. Of course it's been an usual day. The whole flock is behaving a little odd today.

Like any guilty parent I am offering treats to make them all feel better. So I brought their favorite, pasta. Check this out. They didn't eat it.

Instead they asked for cracked corn! Even now they are scratching in the leaves not eating the pasta. It is truly odd behavior for my hens.

I'm not sure how to feel about it.

I did have a hawk attack and kill a song bird on the neighbours roof today as well.

It just seems all 7 of us are a little off today. 🤔
