My youngest was the worst driver ever. She bent 4 different rims, a control arm and tie rod all in different incidents. Put out a trail light backing up. Sideswiped a parked car and rear-ended someone requiring a new bumper and hood. All in 6 months.

However she now is an excellent driver. I can actually relax while she is driving. She is the only person in the family with whom I feel safe.

My oldest once rear-ended me at a stop light. This was after I had called my youngest and had her relay the message that my oldest was following too close and was going to hit me! :rant
My youngest crashed my truck into my car, get this, in the driveway. Smashed the hood (bonnet for you, Shad, and probably for you down in Oz, too), broke the radiator, etc. Something like $700 or $800 to fix the damage to the car. I left the truck as it was since it was just a bent bumper.

When I replaced the hood and bumper on her car I got Maroon ones. Her car had been red. After that accident it was two tone. 😆

Hattie Update

Hattie is up and moving and eating normally this morning. @Shadrach It was hard to get pictures of her bum. I was able to tilt her back and forth to get her to flex her tail feathers so you can see. Everything looks normal to me now. I have to clean her bum so we can get a better look as well as keep her from getting sore. There is no egg anywhere to be seen.

I am pleased Hattie is back to her old self!

That went exceptionally well. They are well feathered. I think they are very close to being ready for outside. How are you heating your brooder?
I stopped using the heat lamp because they were too hot. I’m not a fan of heat lamps anyway, but I was able to make sure it was safe since I was inside the house. Anyway, I was down to a very very low white animal heating pad and they have stopped using it. However, it’s still in the low 70s in the house.
