Better than a chicken with only one leg !

I saw a story on a hen here that got a prosthetic leg and was able to run around and dig again - that’s a good owner to do that

Huh. Sigh. Agathae is broody once more. She keeps heading back to the nest. I'm tired of trying to stop her. I wish I'd be able to hatch eggs, but Dad doesn't believe the Bigs would take the chicks happily. I do, but he doesn't. Agathae has promised she will NOT stop going broody until her chicks hatch.

I sympathize.
I am already exhausted with broody politics and Tassels has only been going a bit over a week.
She will not get off the nest on her own. She will not drink. And she keeps trying to kill Sylvie.

Here no one is trying to kill each other. They know what broody is. But Agathae careth not. She wants her eggs, lest she will kill herself by not drinking, eating, dust bathing, or existing. She did that last year and I practically guarantee that she's gonna do that again this year. She loves doing extreme stuff.
