Reluctantly I have decided I need to try and break Tassels (hate that phrase).
Even if I fail it will be easier for my chicken sitter to care for her this way.
She is not happy, and I know I am a big softie but I find it very distressing to do this to her.

I know right?! So cute and tiny! Bet they wouldn’t do well in the cold here though. Wonder what the hens look like?

Why wouldn’t they do well in cold? I was more worrying about predators.

Well I guess like any other those she will just go about scratching and eating like normal.

Maybe in a couple days let her out and see what she does.

They are so tiny I worry about them keeping their body heat, my silkies are not happy with the really cold temps. And just figure the cold would hard on tiny bodies.
