Just curious ~ if you have a fence how do dogs get on your property to poo? Years ago we had a chainlink fence w/ one sturdy chainlink gate but the 2nd gate was flimsy wood that a German Shepherd broke to get into our yard years ago ~ lucky our birds were locked in the run & a neighbor chased off the stray! We now have block walls & iron bar gates. But you know, it still doesn't keep out night critters like opossums, raccoons, or coyotes from the yard. Good thing hens go down at dusk & get locked in for the night.

Blockwall w/ redwood privacy fencing on top of block wall to left in photo & barn coop in rear under patio roof. End of season raised garden beds in center.

Block wall + barn coop & dog kennel wire run. Hens free roam the yard by day & only use the coop to lay eggs then go to roost in the coop at dusk when we lock up the run.

The fence divides the properties at the sides but there's no fence at the road. They just walk around.

I had a quick look and ‘Grower’ feed exists in the UK.
I would be feeding her that as it has less calcium added.
Here is an example.

She's got this below and is refusing to eat it wet dry or mixed into other foods 🤔

That is the same brand as I posted.
They do a 'Layers' feed (pellets and crumble) which has the added calcium a laying hen needs.
They also do baby chick crumbs and the one I posted which is called 'Grower' and seems to be in pellets only. They advertise the Grower for ages 5-6 weeks up to point of lay, but it is also fine for 'post laying' chickens. It might be worth a try and you could mix in a bit of the Layers so it doesn't go to waste.
I have no idea if that is why she isn't liking Layer feed - but at her age I would probably take her off Layer feed anyway, so she may just be telling you that!
Her poop doesn't look to bad to me - mine often have liquid poop, particularly in the summer.

Thank you 😊

I've just added my questions on what to feed here https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/what-can-i-feed-my-elderly-chicken.1638375/

This food was only just purchased. I hope I can find an alternative and give it to people that could use it. .

I'll look up growers feed and call my supplier tomorrow to see what they will suggest.
