Glynda was Bob's dream chicken - sparkling white, feisty and a blue egg layer. She will be sorely missed.
So we are all reminded of the good times, I have linked a few past posts on Glynda. I am sure Bob will do a better job of a tribute to her when he can bear to.
This is so amazing. Thanks for doing this. You are truly a special person and a great friend. I am blessed to know you.

I thought this was an interesting read but it's in french and it's not a scientific source. It's about garlic but it does explain part of those opposite viewpoints. Here it is through goggle translate :

This reminds me of when I was trying to bring my iron (in blood) levels up through my diet (I reacted to the iron pills). I found lists of foods that were high in iron. I also found lists of foods that hindered iron absorption. Many foods were on both lists. Couldn't find info at the time addressing the commonalities.

Thank you for sharing. I found it an interesting read.

It’s one of those days! 🤦‍♂️. I brought Aero inside to give her treats. She is talkative for sure.
Borrowing a phrase. All these new birds are cheeky creatures. She doesn’t like making messes with her feed. But she knows what she’s wanting for treats. Her sisters seem a bit more polite than she is.
Sir Jaffar would have loved her so much, at this stage.

Coop dilema!

Started installing roosts and realized the pop door will be right under the lower one. Think that'll be okay?View attachment 3933412
We have a perch directly over the pop door. Our barn coop is elevated, w/ a ladder ramp leading up to the pop door.

The coop was prefabricated & as we assembled it the coop offered 5 perch slots to pick from so we chose the lowest middle slot over the pop door. We never needed to install more than one perch. Never been a problem over the pop door.
