image.jpg The Wyandottey on a Saturday afternoon:

My dog passed away on Sunday, I kept thinking Saturday because my head and heart was so traumatised. I saw her on her own on Monday and thought I have too do better for her remaining life.

I miss them enormously, there's a huge gap without them. But she's so happy there it's the best ever decision for her.

She has 3 friends already. I'll have more pictures soon
Here's one from Wednesday she chatting to the flock outside and driving that poor turkey nuts

She looks great. It's really nice that she will have chicken friends again. Way to put her before yourself. It's very hard to do. :thumbsup

I have been having an issue with a hawk. No injuries or deaths so far thankfully. Luna is very good at sounding the alarm for everyone to go hide and today I could hear it from inside so I went and scared it off. This is the 3rd time in a week
In my experience they will keep coming back for months. Think about ways to help your ladies to stay safe.

How is Versace doing? Did I miss an update?
He is currently trying to tidbit some pumpkin skin

He's very sweet and talkative.

He and the other boys get along very well, Ric Flair especially likes to hang out with a fellow floofy boy

And he waits on the perch at night for the hens to go to bed, but sometimes it's then too dark for him to see the doorway so I have to give him a stroke and shine my light on the coop ramp.

He's doing very well here!
