In my experience they will keep coming back for months. Think about ways to help your ladies to stay safe.

Yeah they have tons on hiding places so I am not too worried. I am just only going to free range them a couple hours a day

Besides the Dark Partridges it looks like you have one Gold/blue Partridge and one that looks very much Moorhead Partridge. But then they change color so much from year to year it could all change.

Thanks! I sort of wish we didn’t have it as the chickens would have more grass to eat but they have the woods and my parents love it so I don’t mind it. It does look much better than the patchy grass!
