I’m in big trouble. I have been eating the Reeces peanut butter and chocolate cups that I bought for the Halloween trick-or-treaters.
Washed them down with whole milk. One thing, it’s too late for eating sugars like that, and I am lactose intolerant to an extent.
So I guess I deserve what I will feel tonight.

I hear the sound of dueling cocoricos this morning. Nobody is let out until I return from church. It is not going to hurt them to wait inside the coop and run until my return.

It's not an excuse to abuse sugar consumption ~ but have a chewable vitamin C preferably w/Rose Hips in the C immediately after you gave into the temptation of the sugar rush. We no longer have kids doing Halloween in our neighborhood since the homeless problem started around here so we have no candy to tempt us.

Poor Mr P . How I wish they would leave his feathers alone.

Right after that we had a huge wind storm with hail sleet and rain mixed with wet snow! The chooks all ran to be let in. I had to put Mr away first then let the rest in.

Of course there are always a couple that want to stay outside, they hid under my truck.

Then the horses came in while it was storming as I didn’t have their rain sheets on them.

Tis the time of year!

Mrs Little Chicken

Has joined the ranks of laying hens.

She laid this wee beautiful egg just now. I know it’s hers because I had her and Flopsy in the summer house on their own sitting in nest boxes.

Not sure who the other punk egg is from but for size comparison.

That’s actually a pretty decent sized egg for such a wee chicken!
