English ones I think are the worst! They tore out my bluebird houses and took them over.

We used to get a lot from the farm across the road. I exchanged all the wild bird seed in our wild bird feeders for only sunflower seeds and for the mostpart they don't come here anymore. I'm also a good shot with my 20-gauge. ;)
I don't know what these ones are. I know they love chicken feed, right along with the doves.

I just hope I can get them to stay away for the most part.

Confirmed

Everyone, I have chatted with @SimpleJenn and can confirm that all of her chickens have died. She will not be back here for a bit as she deals with the loss. They are in the process of cleaning up by burning all of the bodies. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she deals with this very difficult situation.

We believe it was avian flu as they went so fast. The first passed Sunday and by Friday they are all gone.

Now I have to tell Mrs BY Bob about Versace. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers as well. This is going to be very hard for her. Ot as hard as it is for Jenn of course.
How devastating. So, so sorry, Jenn! :hugs

Cows are catching it now too. Crazy.
This chart from the AVMA shows all the wildlife species in which it has been detected.

Sending hugs to @SimpleJenn and to Rose and you. How terrible...I can't imagine having to deal with that.
It's so sad 💚.

They are but @MaryJanet has been successful in defeating her sparrows. It just takes determination.
That's right. It's a matter of closing off the entrances one by one, and it takes a lot of observation to find them all. Late afternoon is a good time to watch from a distance and see how the sparrows are getting in, because that's when they're hungry.

Omg! Oh no😳

Oh noooo! Oh no! How crushing.

I was just reading about AI not being east of Saskatchewan here in Canada - yet. Though they expect it soon enough.

But this it too close to home. That’s it. My gang is no longer going outside at all.

Gosh I am just gobsmacked 😢😢😢 I cannot believe it. It’s just so surreal.

Well I am sending hugs to you Mr and Mrs By Bob, and to Jenn and her family. Gosh I just don’t know what to say.

😢😢😢😢😢
