My brooder of choice is a small super cheap tent. I can still see them really well with all the zip down windows but they can’t escape. I have used these outside in the coop and inside the house both with and without mama’s. Plus it also serves in an emergency as an isolation “coop” so it can be useful to you and your chickens long after these chicks are grown. They are small, but they are fast and they are all over the house now! Even mama hen can’t keep up with the seven little ones.
I’m in need of assistance to catch them (they choose not to cooperate)

I was going to look and see if they had one at the ‘Sally Ann’ - my go to place for barn stuff. My brooder of choice is a small super cheap tent. That’s almost exactly what I have. It’s a two person pop up tent. It’s big enough to serve as brooder from day old up till it’s coop time. Plus, it could easily house a sick or injured fully grown adult with a friend if need be. I am no spring chicken lol and I really appreciate how easy and lightweight it is.I was going to look and see if they had one at the ‘Sally Ann’ - my go to place for barn stuff.
A small one man pop up tent would be great for isolating injured chooks.
They are really friendly little bits of fluff. I did not get them for me but I will admit I am enjoying how people friendly they are.Awww they are so sweet![]()
