Hi everyone,

I feel like I am dying and have since Friday evening. The tooth that I chipped a few months ago and was told to go to Lexington over to get a root canal for? Well, Lexington was simply not a option and I finally found a dentist who attempted to fix it by filling it. First bite of a cheeseburger Friday night and 2/3rds of it broke off below the gum. It has got to go and first thing tomorrow I am calling Aspen Dental. They do not accept my insurance but will take payment plans according to their website. I do not care if it cost me a arm and a leg it has got to go.
Oh no! Can’t you send the insurance a letter from the dentist to cover this emergency? Seems they were negligent in having you go to the one dentist to begin with 😢

I am sending hugs your way.

:hugs

She is certainly not stressed by jail. It is twice the size of her nest box and she simply settles in to try and hatch a little lump of 2x4.
She also seemed to think she could hatch out little ice cubes from the block of ice I put under her.
But I think maybe I am making progress. I heard her talking in her normal voice a few minutes ago.
:fl
Might want to go with a snow/ice theme for any chicks you give her 😊♥️

I feel sorry for any hen that lays too many eggs or that goes hard broody, poor things 💕

Those of you who stock up on eggshells for your hens... How/where do you keep them? Do you rince them and keep them in the fridge? Or just a cool, dry place? I'm going to ask my grandma to start keeping the shells when she uses eggs, just as an extra sort of supplement/treat. My girls like the OS so I don't need to supplement with egg shells but they like to eat them so I want to 😆
I put them in a clean plastic container (open top) on my counter - then I 'bake them' once a week in the oven to make sure there are no bacteria, then, when cooled, I crush them and give them to the chooks in a hanging small dish.

I never check my baggage at the airport. I’m always just using carrion luggage 🧳 when I travel by commercial flights. It’s so much easier.
Ummmm...since you are the pilot and do all your luggage/cargo loading - why not a checked bag or two - I would imagine you wouldn't lose your own luggage? :idunno :idunno
