Since retirement, it's become much harder to track. But, I had a Dr appointment yesterday, so I knew it was Friday, can't use retirement as a tactic...just gettin, but without the beard.

I look at it as 'every day is the weekend for me'!

She is setting herself apart a bit, and there's adult Buckeye feathers lying about in her favorite corner. But she molted some in June...thought she was done, it seemed to be a partial molt...and she had a flare-up of her respiratory issue at the same time, could they be connected? Now, spotted her removing loose feathers! Just missed a great shot, a feather sitting loose on her back...

Dorothy didn't go bald this year, she only threw off some tail feathers and over her wings.

I see other feathers laying around so a few others are moulting also. Tis the season it seems.

One thing I can't wait for is to see how BY Bobs Lady F colours out when she moults - how white she will become.

I am jealous! I am working on 'Freedom 95' here, my one desire is to retire and be able to sit on my lawnchair and watch the horses and chooks. And don't forget that cuppa tea - oh sounds so nice!

OK all have a lovely day - off to feed my neice's moggies - I am running late, had some stuff to do. And the smoky air is back - poor Clyde's breathing is not great, I had to look for the reference to the prednisone doseage I post a while back. When I get home I will give him some (which reminds me I need to take my puffer!).
