So you guys have been busy and I think I still have 20 pages to catch up, but I hope it’s ok if I share anyway. I am sooooo happy to be on break. Went for a jog/walk with hubs and doggo this morning, and look at the leaves in the sun!

Lily, Hattie, Aurora, Sidney and Phyllis...who is the 6th then? I think I need to concentrate on everyone's present community chickizens and get them sorted before going back into the early thread again!

I think RC is right. Aurora is feeling something is wrong in her body and it's upsetting her.

I'm 3rding this. I think something is wrong & Aurora is acting out.

I sit here sincerely worried about how all of this is going to play out. At times I am fretting myself so much that Mrs BY Bob is asking me what is wrong as it is plain on my face. It is funny how much this turmoil in the flock is bothering me. I need to have faith that they will work it out. Your mind just goes to the worst possible outcome.

I my experience ~ which is not all that much really ~ these things are short lived & sort themselves out quickly. I would be checking Aurora carefully just because she seems so cranky @ everyone & everything recently.

Shall I add my Chicken Drama to the growing pool? I was one short, one of a pair that are besties and molting, DH and I spent 1 1/2hrs scouring the field, all the books and crannies. We checked under the trailer multiple times. The last time, just as we were giving up and heading down to bring my mother up for dinner, I caught a flash of not quite the right colour for rust. Perched on the axel snuggled against the tire there she was. I have to do laundry now... as extricating her involved squirming through the “mud” (cow poo) under the trailer. Everyone is safe, but my heart was quite heavy for a time thinking I had lost her.
