Exactly.I have the omelet cube too and I love it. I have 4 chickens in it and was thinking of getting 2 more but have decided not to because of the roosting space. I think it would have held 6 comfortably if they grew up together but have decided the integration would be too stressful for all involved due to the limited space once the cube door is closed for the night. One day I would love to build a big coop but that won’t work in our current house. I hope you can figure out the best option. Would love to hear how it goes if you decide to integrate.
And shamelessly so! I have it all clear and designed in my head, all ready for when you come to terms with the idea.O you enabler.![]()

Indeed I will. Have a few options for you with pros and cons depending on things like how much work you are willing to take on.Perhaps you could share the coop expansion plans with me?![]()
Suddenly I'm looking forward to seeing these.Indeed I will. Have a few options for you with pros and cons depending on things like how much work you are willing to take on.
I will sketch them out in a quiet moment over the next few days and will see if I can figure out how to load them up.
I must warn you that not only am I an enabler, I also just LOVE planning renovations, construction, home improvement etc. Just look at the Chicken Palace for evidence!
From the article it seems like you are pretty handy so I won't hold back on ambition too much!
Just beautiful. I love the name Chick Inn!Happy Christmas Eve morning. Here it is very pink! I know these images don’t do it justice but I had to try. The pulley house was awash in rosy light this morning.

I hope you all have a lovely day and holiday if you’re celebrating.
I will admit, I was helping Roostie with his head feather preening... oh, the mess he made of my trailer! Feather sheath bits everywhere, luckily I have officially given up on cleaning until spring. Too much mud, too much poop, too cold, not enough water, not enough room. I brushed them off the blanket on the chair though. He sat and happily let me fluff his feathers for him. It's tempting isn't it? But I don't think you should. Besides, how would you catch her and get her to hold still?![]()
Really? Why not? Buttercup (my Light Brahma) doesn’t preen her butt feathers very well anc stands patiently while I crunch the cuticle between my fingernail and thumb. She loves it!It's tempting isn't it? But I don't think you should. Besides, how would you catch her and get her to hold still?![]()
