If I were to choose a favourite of the six, it would be Anne of Cleves. I think she heard of his reputation as a husband and made herself as physically unattractive but remained personable as she possibly could. Maybe she cut her hair off or made sure she had a minor snot issue or faked a hairy wart on her chin or somesuch? Anywaehe was repulsed but charmed and she survived.

Tax! Nearly forgot my tax.

HI Ivy :frow Even when molting, you are very pretty.

By all accounts she was a very clever & intelligent woman. Of all his wives I've always liked her best.
I have absolutely never spent 1 iota of time worrying about Henry's wives let alone picked a favorite. I feel like I have missed out on something here. 🤔

The way to remember what happened to each one is this rhyme:
divorced, beheaded, died,
divorced, beheaded, survived.

History buff rather than scientist...:gigVery different mind set. ;)

It's a fascinating reign that's for sure. Hey, do you like Lucy Worseley's history shows?

@Shadrach , please forgive me. I had not learned to use "tribe" when I ordered the cards months ago!

I am so glad that you received it. It was actually a very hard decision as to whether we would send them out or not as they did not arrive until after New Years Day and have no year on them. (could have repurposed for Christmas 2021) Instead we decided to send them anyway and spread some chicken cheer in these dark winter days.

I loved it!! I only received a total of 3 cards this year and they all came after New Year's
