Yep, he's yer top man. All Tribe 1 apart from Fat Bird are his doing. He and Ruffles saved the tribe from dying out. Luckily Ruffles liked her men. If it had been up to Fat Bird she would be the only one left now.

O Fat Bird! I can't imagine you having to carry her around all day. Ruffles and Cillin did you a solid.

What a great picture of Hattie in all her finery!

She is so pretty after her molt. It is amazing how dingy she gets through the course of the year. Then she molts and is spectacular again. With her bright red comb and wattles right now she is looking sharp!

I'm sorry Shad. Not good. I've got a girl on the way to the vet this morning too. There always seems to be something with chickens.

Who is headed to the vet? Nevermind, I read ahead and found out. Please let us know how it goes.

Seems the Post Office is working again and I received my Christmas cards finally!!

@Shadrach , please forgive me. I had not learned to use "tribe" when I ordered the cards months ago!

I am so glad that you received it. It was actually a very hard decision as to whether we would send them out or not as they did not arrive until after New Years Day and have no year on them. (could have repurposed for Christmas 2021) Instead we decided to send them anyway and spread some chicken cheer in these dark winter days.
