Hey everybody! I have caught up a bit... I don’t go too far back.. that is too overwhelming for me! So I’m sure I have missed a good bit!
I’m sure this will make you so pleased Bob.. here are the Brady Bunch eggs... Olive Eggers... as you can see they are not olive but they are three different shades of greenish tan 🤷‍♀️ ... and that “brown” one is not brown.. they appear so different in photos..View attachment 2500030
Nice!

For me it is chook chook chook. That is all it takes if I want them all. If I just want one, I call their name and, usually, just that one arrives. Sometimes Aurora tags along, just in case there is food to be had.

Not that she is going hungry or anything. 😆

I use the ‘here chook, chook, chook’. They also respond to me clicking my fingers or patting the back of my thigh. Unfortunately the last 2 are what my dog knows too so I end up with the girls and the dog following me 🤣

White. Thick, No smell by the time I get to it.
OK that is good! That is pus before it gets solid so you want to keep letting it out. Soaking, some massage while the scab is off to get more of it out.
In theory you should probably irrigate the wound (water would be fine) to flush more of it out and then pack it with some gauze (change daily) which will wick it out and help it heal in with healthy tissue. But I can only begin to imagine how hard that would be on a rooster and single handed.
