Its the age old, if we acknowledge they are not disposable and are living creatures with value, then we could never condone treating them like that. Most people don't want to know.

I find that telling stories about mine are extremely helpful in changing their minds on the first part. Then most people can no longer condone the second part when you educate them on what occurs.
Last weekend i saw a film in which a delicate and fancy lady slipped in the mud and rain and a chicken in the background cracked up laughing!!

I think I had them mixed up in the post, it's Peanut's, it is the same thankfully. Hazel's has appeared good but I'll check them both again with a magnifying lens. I just got some super glue gel that I ordered. Mostly I am getting up the courage to try to swipe a little bit on it. I will have to bring her inside to do it, it's so very cold out now.
