The Drought is about to be Broken!

Many things have aligned

• Yesterday was the shortest day of the year. So extra daylight today!
• I was scrambling some of @CrazyChookChookLady eggs
• Bright red comb and wattles
• Maybe Santa whispered something to her

I was watching the ladies today and Hattie was hanging around the coop and the other 3 were far away from it. She was even pacing a little. Then she was gone.

Nope! I was hoping for just that one!! It is proudly displayed in my kitchen and will be up year round with my chicken stuff.

I could not resist....

Even though it was an hour round trip each time, we had to do it. It was the best. The girls seemed to like it and the people at the store were absolutley in love with them. So much fun!
