The Drought is about to be Broken!

Many things have aligned

• Yesterday was the shortest day of the year. So extra daylight today!
• I was scrambling some of @CrazyChookChookLady eggs
• Bright red comb and wattles
• Maybe Santa whispered something to her

I was watching the ladies today and Hattie was hanging around the coop and the other 3 were far away from it. She was even pacing a little. Then she was gone.

A Christmas Eve present from Hattie

It took her almost 2 hours but she delivered! The drought is broken.

Did Maleficent get to visit Santa this year?

Maleficent did not get to visit Santa this year. We ran out of time.

She gets to go first next year.

It is officially Christmas at Fluffy Butt Acres. In celebration here is Daisy, the greatest hen ever, enjoying a fresh snowfall to a little Christmas music.

Special Day

Today's Christmas celebration for the ladies included a full day of free range with Macaroni and Cheese, hand fed pasta from Bob, and hand fed Blueberries and Blackberries to make certain everyone got their fair share.

All in all a pretty special day. They were in great spirits.

I hope yours all had a special day as well.
