The fellow in that ad that someone linked that had an Emu in it pronounced it "Eee-moo".
Whenever I have heard an American say it it is usually as "Eee-moo". For some reason, it drives me batty. :barnie

Present company excepted of course.😇
It was me that posted the ad where they say ‘ee-moo’, but I personally say ‘eem-you’.
I still think the ad is funny though.

Haha! I know your yard is covered in snow. But never having lived in the snow, I did not know no yard equipment gets used. Thought there might be a snow blower like a leaf blower? LOL!
There is a snowblower but it is nothing like a leaf blower. 😆

You do know that they are trying to rhyme Emu with LiMu (Lee-Moo) which is short for Liberty Mutual Insurance, right? While I suspect there will be a whole generation which pronounces it wrong moving forward, many of us still pronounce it the correct way.

How people pronounce certain names or words is slightly different in each area. Well it is here in UK :).
