May I join in the conversation? I know I post for FBF and Mugshot Monday, but I haven't really participated fully. I do really enjoy this thread :)
Hello :)
Bob is so welcoming and the same can be said for everyone in fluffy butts. I'm new here and everyone I have interacted with have been just great.

Pleased to meet you by the way

We have had intermittent hailstorm here today. They are all tucked together into their coop with straw to keep them warm.

I've just put olive oil of my girls wattles legs and feet.
My Minnie has what looks like dry skin on her comb. I gather there is a fungus called favus(?) like athletes foot so it might be that. Though honestly it looks just like my own unmoistutized elbows.
I think athletes foot cream is the treatment so I might try that and it might moisturize as well.
Anyone any experience of that? I will try and get a photo but she is zipping around everywhere because the sun is out and there are worms and bugs so she is a bit hard to pin down!

:eek:Athletes foot cream

To be honest I wouldn't put this on myself so would never use it on my chickens.

I used a lot of this fungal treatments a long time ago but wouldn't ever again. Fungal doesn't like salt, so I bathe them in salt and vinegar water then rub in olive oil. Tonight I used a cloth soaked in the above, then oiled. Because it is to cold to soak them, in this weather.

Heavens yes. 💞.
I won’t speak for @BY Bob bit he is one of the kindest most welcoming people on earth so I am pretty sure he will be very happy for you to join. Particularly as you already post pictures which we all love seeing!

Thank you all so much! I'm glad you like my pictures! I sure like all of yours!

Pleased to meet you too @Marie2020 and everyone on this thread!

That's a thought..and, why haven't I thought if giving my chickens nuts? Never have. They have a cherry tree they can pig out on. Apples too. My house treats, but no nuts.
Wait! Wait! Do sunflower ..seeds......oh.wait again, those are seeds. 😄. They don't count as nuts.
