I know I am a broken record, but triple digits here are usually a 2-4 days a year kind of thing. Maybe once or twice a year we will have a day or two when it hits 100-102. The most recent forecast has it at 101 tomorrow and 111 on Sunday now! I don't think it has ever been that hot here in the valley.

You are all welcome! Pool water is a brisk 77°F (25°C)

My local pool's water is 75. It's great cold therapy for my foot after work, but boy does it give you a shock when you jump in!!

They did have treats earlier of course, they are quite spoiled. Here they had watermelon yesterday, handed of course.

A couple more pictures I took this morning while sitting out back having my coffee.
The chicks were playing hop on mom.

Have you ever seen a more "judging" group of youngsters? I swear they've already sized me up and found me lacking.

The integration between Bunny's 2 boys and the 3 pullets I held back was a complete success. The girls are Creamy, Remi and Pumpkin, the boys are not named.

And Daisy is still of the opinion that all the other hens are crazy and chicks are just not for her.
