That is a very interesting siteWell that was interesting.
I cracked two roadrunner eggs and one was white inside and one was blue!

I swapped them around on the counter to be sure it wasn’t a trick of the light.
That was so intriguing I dug through the chips of shell I already fed back to the Princesses. Sure enough a mix of blue and white on the inside.
So I investigated more and I discovered that the white ones actually have a very tightly adhering membrane and are also blue under the membrane.
I peeled the membrane off some chips of shell (it was really stuck on there!) and found blue underneath.

That's a very good feeder . I would love to have a smaller version but I'm afraid slimey old slugs would get into itI made a feeder similar that. The chickens have had no problems with it and it helps keep them from scattering feed everywhere. Here's a picture from 2019.
