I know, but through strategic wording on listings I've been able to place most of the chicks through facebook. I still have Henrietta's 6 that I listed at a day old, but I've not been actively pushing them, been letting them grow out. I also do not list the chicks the momma's are raising until they are done with them. I do not want to force a weaning and stress out the hen or chicks. If the broodies are doing their job it's really no work for me so I'm in no rush. That being said, Momma's 10 are being listed very soon, it's going to possibly take a little longer to place them as there are 5 for sure boys. I've also not listed Holly's chicks yet because I still have to make a decision on the silkies. I actually may not have to list them as a few of the people that came to get chicks recently know about the silkies and showed interest in them and told me to contact them once I knew who would be available. The hardest part has been placing boys, but with time I've managed to place them all. If your patient there are people out there who like me and alex love and can keep roosters and are looking for good ones.
