Names for Phyllis' Subtribe

So far these are the names we have gathered for the new group of Polish that will be arriving shortly at Fluffy Butt Acres.
  • The Babushkas
  • The Pierogi Posse
  • The Pierogi
  • The Pretty Pierogi
  • The Haluski
  • The Haluski Hens
  • The Haluski Hunkies
  • The Polish Bureau
  • The Mop Tops
  • The Phyllistines
Does anyone have their own to throw in the hat?
“These are Phyllis ‘s pearls “

Us Aussies are being unfairly discriminated against today! :rant I wanna see Bob's videos! :tongue
Hey I couldn't see them either but skipped ahead and found Bob on YouTube and saw them there. Subscribed too. But now I think the problem is solved? I wonder if it's related to mischief - I got a spam conversation starter notification email from BYC this afternoon, the notification was real but the conversation was not there - been removed I think - and the topic/question was very general, didn't make much sense.

So I’ve just observed Belle grabbing at Snows big dangly wattles 🤔 Snow just stood there and let it happen then went in to lay her egg.
Is this a dominance strategy from Belle? I’m not convinced she’s laying yet, only get an egg every 2-3 days and never 2 on the one day. Maybe she’s about to begin.
Today is the one day I have to go into work until lunch, I’ll check on them when I get home.
They are let out for half a day everyday, maybe the new feeder is causing issues.
Anyway...

Oh very clever - the Phyllistines!

Your hens are quite lovely. My hens take mostly care of themselves grooming wise. Occasionally we have to clean a butt. Outside of that they groom and care for their feathers themselves.

Since yours are loaner chickens I wonder if they might be a little stressed being moved about. Stress can cause feathers to be more rumpled as grooming can drop off.

Your red hen does seem a little rumpled in that picture, almost like she is going through a molt. Are you finding feathers strewn about at all?
Mine seem to perpetually have a bit of. Molting going on and consequently often look a bit scruffy. @Kawi_girl, I don’t think it is anything to worry about.

Ice-cream
Here is Maggie enjoying her ice-kefir once I transferred it out of the rubber bowl.
Posting this because Maggie is cute and very keen on ice-cream, but also to test if the video issue is specific to @BY Bob.

UGH - I think this has the same issue as Bob's videos. Should we alert BYC administrators somehow?
No need, videos are working now 💕
