I have a quick question. I have no idea how to keep mosquitoes out of my chickens waterers. They have 3 5 gallon ones. Every time I open them up to clean and add fresh water in I get a face full of blood thirsty mosquitoes.
Add some apple cider vinegar to the water if your waterers are plastic.

I always have apple cider vinegar on hand but have never used it - my ladies love the mosquito larvae in the water and fish for them in the drinking area.
Luckily so far at least I have never faced them actually growing up into mosquitos!

I've called around with the sincere hope that exotic meant chicken too. No luck. My dogs' vet recommended one of their competitors, and that practice recently lost their vet that treated chickens.
I live in too urban of an area to have access to a farm animal vet.
Avian was where I went. There's only one in my city as far as I know.

Pour chicken lady is a bit jealous and gets in between me and my turkeys. Chicken Lady is my oldest and dearest hen. She is over 8 years old and still gives me eggs. She let's me know when she needs some loves and cuddles. She doesn't want to be touched until she wants to be touched. 😊 and she talks up a storm.

Lovely turkey family :love
