The Buff is a good benchmark for me. If she was cold she would peep about it.It is really low. She should be plenty warm
In my experience neither.I feel so mean asking advice.
I need to deal with a mouse situation. One came out of the coop and ran over my foot this morning.
I found two things that may help but would like anyone here to give their take on them...

You are the ultimate rodenteerIn my experience neither.
Step one is exclusion. Hard but doable I think depending on your set up.
Step before that is taking food out of coop at night.
Step two I am afraid is snap traps. They are human fast death.
Sorry. I am not into killing things but they can get out of control really fast.
Yes - but she can stand and have her back touching the plate. The Buff is a good benchmark for me. If she was cold she would peep about it.
It has certainly been hard-win experience! You are the ultimate rodenteer
