Our neighbor, who has beehives, gifted us some fresh honey, it is wonderful!@RoyalChick
I've never thought about honey. What does it do? Does it extract the infection?

Band both legs....Soo...I banded all the Marans Friday, and I think I broke Bumblebee. Oh he's fine, he's just trying to convince me that in banding him that I broke his leg and he cant walk with it on. There's just one little problem with that, the leg he is holding up, and fake limping on....is the one with no band. Not only that, but if i'm inside or he cant see me, he's strutting around trying to impress the girls. The second he spots me he starts limping, or simply standing looking pitiful holding up the non banded leg. Sorry buddy, your keeping it on, although it has caused him to be carried to the feeders and hand fed special treats.
So, what is the point of banding their legs? Health reason?Band both legs....![]()

It's great to have you commenting here.I don't think I have ever posted much on your thread Bob... I love what you did with the place!![]()
The marans all got banded to be able to id them. He tried a fast one: limping when being watched, standing on one foot, preventing he couldn't walk on it....for the WRONG (unbanded leg). Ok, like the toddler having a drama moment...band em both! So, what is the point of banding their legs? Health reason?
