Wow, deep-fried sausage with an egg in the middle. So the point is to get an unpeeled but still whole egg into a casing of sausage and then cook it, thus the soft-boil to begin. Then the egg is going to cook into a firmer state, but hopefully not too cooked, I guess? Suppose you started with a hard-boiled egg? Does a more-cooked egg turn into something not good to eat? Rubbery? Or do the yolks turn dark and not look great? Something else?

Man, alot of ppl find it silly when I mourn over my chickens, but one death really hurt me alot. It was this blind hen that I had for 10 years. I spent on avg probably 1-2 hours a day helping her stay healthy and making sure she was able to eat and drink, but just like all life, she eventually passed away despite all my efforts. It really bothered me for awhile but I eventually figured out the best medicine for that is to get more chickens! Lol
:hugs for you and your hen. Given how long most chickens in the US live, 10 years is a good stretch!
