Aww thanks for asking. Still there but improving every day. Getting out of bed is now so mild it is weirdly pleasant - like starting the day mildly tipsy! I still have trouble with rapid pivots but I am definitely on the mend.
Just curious why you say i tis the wrong time of year for molting. My understanding is that molting is timed to ensure that they have new feathers to keep them warm in the depth of winter when they really need it. Isn't it heading to winter with you now?

As I've said there's a peculiar change of weather here, swinging from really warm too very cold, sunshine then grey skies wet then dry.
 
The only poultry dusts I have seen here are permethrin.
I see BYC posts recommending dusting with DE but you buy that as food grade DE. The products called poultry dusts are something like 25% permethrin. I. Red to see what other ingredients are.
The DE I have is pure. I found out the other ash which is slightly brown is mixed with mud . We've been ripped off for years
