I'm stopping at 2 because I want to keep the number below 25. I have a feeling its going to take a bit to find exactly what I want so I'm starting the search now. There is one ad that intrigues me but it has to be a no go. A group of 5 paints that for the most part are gorgeous and just at a year old. The downfall, the breeder is getting out of paints and is insisting they go as a group and 1 of them is a Rooster. To top it off the Roo is a showgirl silkie. That is a hard fast nope, no naked necks for me even though the hens are lovely.

It's not Jaffar's fault. I have 1 of the cochin girls who's probably going to always give a naked neck vibe due to feather damage. That being said, I don't really care for naked necks and while I've come to adore the silkies, naked neck silkies are just wrong. This time of the year it is going to be hard to find silkie hens. I love my blacks but I'm open to other colors although I will be picky with a white as I'm not entirely fond of them.

I just checked the chooks. They are nice and dry inside the coop. I checked on Arizona too. Still on her eggs. Everyone got a tiny bit of steak this morning.
